A Safe, Cost–Effective Treatment for Enhancing the Breast
Areola tattooing can provide the finishing touches for a woman following breast surgery. It is for individuals who want to enhance the appearance of their breasts after losing the natural look following cancer treatments and surgical procedures. The process camouflages scarring and restores the appearance of the darker (areola) area around the nipple. It is usually painless for post-cancer patients and, for natural breasts, a topical anesthetic is applied.
This procedure to reconstruct the nipple and the areola of the breast can begin 6 months after breast surgery. Several appointments may be needed to apply pigment to the scar area.
